Hi! okay so....i have a new instagram account due to the previous one being disabled for #IDONTKNOWWHAT reason. I didnt even do anything that is against their term and conditions and this type of thing happened to me. SIGHHH....really pissed off with insta. SO, i had to create a new one. Grrrrrr.

Just a mini update! im back to blogging as Os are over but i'll take a while to settle back in.  Hop over to my instagram @kylieetan to have instant updates of my daily life, im more active there! (who isnt?) As you can see, i've made afew changes to my blog. New blog banner plus formspring! i've also created a new formspring account as i forgot the password/username of me previous one. THE LAST KAMPONG.

Visited 'Kampong Lorong' - the last kampong  in Singapore.

Buried deep in the ends of Buangkok lane, with forest like trails, lays Kampong Lorong. We were greeted with a quiet yet peaceful kampong (village). Villagers fixing their cars, straightening their lawns. Children cycling on the dirty trails, with laughter and thrills. The simplicity and pureness of this village brings me back to the past Singapore. Flashbacks of the stories i heard as a child of the past village lives of my parents and relatives. I heard the noise, smelled the dirty soil, saw the bustling village with stalls at every corner and the children, running around. I visualized everything this village has given me. 

The last kampong indeed.
