SHORT HIATUS.

SUSHI.

Lunch at "Ri Ben Chun" (pronounced in chinese) with Carissa, Tessar and Kenny! yeap, the same people again :D overall i think that "Ri Ben Chun" is okay~ but i still prefer Sushi Tei as they have a whole variety of japanese food and their japanese food are sooooo delicious!!! even in Japan, i still miss the Sushi Tei here in Singapore haha!! XD well, different people have different opinions and views, so every restaurant is unique :)  its the people whom im having lunch with that makes the lunch so enjoyable ;D there are still many pictures of us taken and they are all at Tessar's instagram. (im just too lazy to get it from her HAHA XD) and we took polariods + Neoprints too!! will post up the pic of it soon~

BAKING.

The Process:

 First attempt: Fail :( it was too black i think?

Second attempt: PASS!!! look at the big difference in color!!

 Third attempt: Still a success :D and for the rest of the attempts, they are pretty much a success so i didnt have to take any pic of it HAHA XD

 We even made some for our teachers! big heart shaped cookies!! First left to right: Mrs Sharon Tan's, Ms Ong's, Ms Ye's.

Went to Tessar's house after sch with Carissa and Kenny to bake cookies!!! hahaha! we just felt like baking cookies to "de-stress" XD Kenny went there to be our so-called-"supervisor" and he was giving verbal support by "complimenting" us on our cookie baking skills~ especially mine which was always so big and thick HAHA! i like it thick okay~ :P overall it was a awesome experience baking with my beloved people :D (more bakings comin' up!!)

KITE FESTIVAL.

see this humongous octopus kite??? its really freakin' HUGE in real life! i can even see it from my house! i was studying that day and when i looked out of the window, i almost had a shock of my life! thats the BIGGEST kite i've EVER seen in my life. theres nothing bigger than this.

see this chair with the whole chain of kites? that is our chair HAHA! dad bought this kite from China (i dont know how long ago, i think it was this year) for about a dollar or two. he wanted to give it to my sister but i dont think she fancies it. sooooo......he decided to bring it out.

this is the temporary store that was located there and they sell all kinds of kites!!!!!!

See this cute boy with his mom? He just cant wait to fly his kite while his mom was helping his to assemble the kite and he keeps holding on to it. haha how cute! 

and his kite finally flew up!!

Dad bought this kite which cost about $100++ from the kite shop. its a weird thing as he usually dont splurge his money but i guess he just wanted to have some fun too haha XD

As the title stated, there was a kite festival held just a few blocks away from my place, in a big open field with lotsa wind. it was a 2 day event and it attracted MANY people due to the colorful and unique kites plus good whether. the kites really filled the entire sky and i cant describe how beautiful it was that day. The pictures didnt do justice to how much kites there were but believe me, i was mesmerized by the view.
