HURRICANE.

Day 6
1.Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall
2.Yehlu
3.Yangmingshan Hotspring.
4.'Nu Ren Jie'.

After breakfast, i went out of the hotel to have a view of the Taipei 101. the temperature was no better as i had to wear this thick knitted cardi of mine.
First stop: Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall.
was built in 1975 to commemorate the death of the first president Mr.Jiang Jieshi.
poor guy had to stand there from the beginning of the performance till the end. pity him x)
went to see these soldiers march from the entrance to the president's place below.
 v

beautifully scruptured place.

they finally made it through these doors and towards the president's place.
their expressions are filled with hatred. i wouldnt want to 'de zui' them XD

they are marching in....a....very.....slowwww.....paceee......still have not reached the president's place yet...lolol.

after what seemed like eternity...they finally reached!
and.....SALUTE!

after saluting for a very very...veryyyy longg time, they turned back and marched back to the entrance.

the soldiers marched so slow, like the speed of how my grandma walked. we over took them by making a few fast strides. was tired of watching them march so we went over to this bench and took photos.

Next stop: Yehlu.
the geological park of Keelung, reowned for its rock formations.

these are the sites that welcomed us when we were heading to Yehlu. pictures are taken in the bus.

Rocky waves, abandon ships, cloudy atmosphere, its makes me feel as if we are in the movie "pirates of the carribean".

rain and wind made the pictures turn out so foggy.

rocky waves again.

look at those cool rocks, we specially went all the way up to catch a view of this. and ofcourse, the wind up here was soooo strong, that our poncho almost flew off. and it was as if we were experiencing a hurricane. trust me, its that strong, i took a video of it but im kinda lazy to upload it. shall upload it next time. (depends on my mood haha ><)

Next stop: Yangmingshan Hotspring

cant believe that this is the place for the hotspring right? looks soo grand x)

this is all i have for the hotspring. i didnt take any pics of the hotspring as i didnt went in.

had dinner and then proceed on to our last stop: "Nu Ren Jie". translation: 'Womens' street'
its another shopping street for youngsters and ofcourse, like what the names suggests, its a place for women. all the stalls are mostly women's clothes.

skull platform

Creepers.
spike platform.
and.....DR.MARTINS' INSPIRED SHOE!!! the one im going to have soon!!! XD

i was walking along 'Nu ren jie' and i found this small little shop displaying shoes that are sold and on trend in singapore! shopaholics, find them familiar? ;D

shopped for a full 1 1/2 or 2 hours before heading back to the hotel. most of my stuffs are bought here! love it! XD
